Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead our IT projects and manage a team of consultants, developers, and engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for all technology and business unit projects within a program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for all technology and business unit projects within a program.
  • Review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
  • Monitor project results against technical specifications to ensure the required results are met as per specifications.
  • Develop and review BRD documents and obtain sign-off from respective business members.
  • Review and provide feedback on various data models developed.
  • Develop interfaces and solutions to enable multiple applications in Gati to work together efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis, and design, development tools, and technologies to ensure project requirements and purpose are met and in line with the latest technology.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to each project, including maintaining the project management application and documenting critical information to ensure smooth project flow and documentation.
  • Keep AVP-IT and key customer stakeholders informed about project status to ensure top management is aware of project development and progress.
  • Organize training for users (train the trainer concept) as and when required or when new software is installed to ensure smooth software use and knowledge transfer to end-users.
  • Ensure quality outcomes of projects within specified and agreed time periods and budgets.
Critical Competencies for Success
  1. Experience managing complex IT projects.
  2. Experience in using project management methodology.
  3. Working knowledge of Scrum-Agile methodology.
  4. Experience in data modeling techniques and knowledge of various normal forms.
  5. Good understanding of MVC framework and mobile application development.
  6. Experience in microservices.
