Scrap Metal Trader Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrap Metal Trader to join our dynamic team.

  • Job Description: Identify and source scrap metal from various suppliers, including industrial manufacturers, demolition companies, and recycling facilities.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  •   Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities to expand the company's market share.
  •   Stay abreast of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting the scrap metal industry to inform decision-making and strategy.
  •   Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards governing the scrap metal trading industry.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  •   Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  •   Minimum of 5 years of experience in scrap metal trading, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  •   Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  •   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with trading software and platforms.
