Data Solutions Strategist

Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices, fostering collaboration across departments to drive decision-making.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions that meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, translating them into effective solutions that enhance organizational capabilities.
• Create and manage ETL pipelines for data movement and transformation across systems, ensuring seamless integration.
• Conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of data systems to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards, protecting sensitive information.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
• Evaluate and recommend modern tools and technologies to strengthen the organization's data capabilities, staying ahead of industry trends.
• Work with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions, driving successful outcomes.
• Leverage expertise in cloud and digital transformation, data management, integration, analytics, and security to drive business growth.

Required Skill Set and Qualifications:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing ETL and data integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, and other emerging technologies.
• Experience with programming languages including Python, Scala, R, PHP, Golang, .NET, C#, Shell Scripting, NodeJS, and other industry-standard languages.
• Expertise in cloud data platforms (CDP), Data Lake/Delta Lake, Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, MongoDB, Azure SQL, Redshift, Oracle, MySQL, and other emerging technologies.
• Proficiency with Power Query, Power Pivot, PySpark, and Microsoft Fabric, leveraging these tools to optimize data management.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and other industry-standard tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools: Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, and other industry-standard tools.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS applications (ADO, Salesforce, Workday, SAP, etc.), adapting to emerging trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks effectively.
