About the Role

At SolarEdge, we are seeking a skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our growing Global Technical Centre. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing innovative solutions for international markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous support to customers and contractors via inbound chats, emails, and cases.
  • Collaborate with operations to validate authorization to release parts needed to solve customer issues.
  • Update the knowledge database used by other technical support representatives with new troubleshooting information.
  • Manage the monitoring database of customer installations and create layouts on the monitoring site as requested.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in professional customer service and technical helpline or remote support.
  • Engineering or technical qualification in electrical and electronics is a must.
  • Basic understanding of IP network technology and experience with solar electric products.
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills, as well as outstanding written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work in a continuous shift model.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working for an international organization.
  • Business communication skills in English and Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2) in reading, writing, or speaking.
