Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely resolution of medical claims and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process medical claims efficiently and accurately, meeting defined turnaround times (TAT) and quality benchmarks.
- Analyze client accounts and take appropriate actions to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure every action taken is resolution-oriented, focusing on task assignments and claim resolutions.
- Task claims to relevant teams within IKS Health or client-assigned departments when necessary.
Additional Responsibilities for AR Team:
- Follow up with payors on open claims beyond reasonable timeframes to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues.
- Analyze insurance denials, verify authenticity, understand causes, and resolve them effectively.
- Ensure claims are followed up as per assigned ticklers within stated timeframes.
- Manage aging on assigned workfiles.
Additional Responsibilities for EV/BV Team:
- Reach out to payors to check insurance eligibility and patient benefits.
- Address claims to insurance or Self-Pay (Patient Attention) based on identified eligibility.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree from any discipline.
- Freshers directly out of college/institutions or minimum one year of experience in AR, PP, Billing, and EV/BV.
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of the US healthcare RCM industry.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
- Typing speed and an eye for detail.

- Accountability and analytical thinking.
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
