Job Overview

The role of a Performance Optimization Specialist is crucial in ensuring the seamless functioning of software applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests to evaluate the efficiency of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute performance tests using load generating tools such as Load runner, Jmeter, and SOAP UI across multiple protocols including Web HTTP and Siebel.
  • Work in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments and cloud-based infrastructures and applications using Azure Devops, Jenkins, Gatling, GitHub, and Maven.
  • Apply knowledge of Kubernetes, Microservices, Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and volumetric analysis.
  • Use programming languages including C, Java, Visual Basic (VB) macros, basic SQL, and shell scripts for customizing scripts and innovative automation processes.
  • Demonstrate expertise in performance test scripting and executing test scripts.
  • Analyze performance test results and highlight issues in both technical and business language.
  • Utilize monitoring and profiling tools such as Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like HP Diagnostics, CA Wily, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in JAVA/JVM architecture, JVM, Garbage Collection (GC), Class loading, Thread dump, and database analysis for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with supporting tools such as Fiddler, Firebug, HAR, and Lighthouse.
