Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of automation frameworks, test cases, and scripts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and Java programming languages.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SDET to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that our products are thoroughly tested and meet the required quality standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python/Java and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automate functional, regression, API, and integration test cases.
  • Perform REST/SOAP Web API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Python requests libraries.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
Requirements:
  • Programming: Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) and working knowledge of Java.
  • Automation: Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
  • Web API Testing: Experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, using Postman, Rest Assured, or Python libraries.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
  • Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab experience is essential.
  • Database Testing: Knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Agile Practices: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
