We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Valve Automation Engineer to join our Pervasive Sensing Team. As a key member of our global engineering team, you will be responsible for the management and execution of Engineered to Order (ETO) projects. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing valve operating systems, ensuring high-quality output while meeting target dates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review customer specifications to ensure alignment with technical requirements.
  • Select and define valve operating system components, considering functionality, materials, customer specifications, regulations, and standards.
  • Design new control systems and operating diagrams, adhering to best engineering practices, regulations, and standards, while ensuring manufacturing feasibility and safety.
  • Design new LSB and/or Positioner adaptations, taking into consideration valve/actuator constraints.
  • Design new Valve adaptations, flanges, and spool couplings, aligning with valve/actuator constraints.
  • Select and define valve mounting kit components, considering technical requirements, materials, customer specifications, regulations, and standards.
  • Create technical documentation, including bills of materials, assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, calculations, and installation/operational manuals.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing plants, as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum years of proven experience in Valve Automation Engineering.
  • Ability to fully understand and develop technical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical component calculations.
  • Pneumatics and hydraulic application knowledge.
  • Proficiency in engineering design and CAD PLM tools, preferably Creo and Windchill.
  • Sound experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Good knowledge of Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in documentation.
