Desktop Support Engineer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and printer-related problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications to ensure seamless performance.
  • Provide expert support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Outlook and other MS Office applications.
  • Respond to IT support tickets efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement or warranty claims as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions for future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components.
  • Possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Show hands-on experience with Microsoft Outlook, Windows OS, and basic networking protocols.
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with end-users and colleagues effectively.
  • Show ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
