As a Senior Engineer in Roundel, you'll contribute to delivering high-quality software, participating in team sprint ceremonies, quarterly goal planning, and design discussions. You'll learn skills to develop reliable, maintainable, and scalable enterprise systems through good coding and automated testing practices.

Your Role

You will be a significant code contributor, owning and being accountable for your work, driving best practices, and ensuring the development of high-quality code. You will identify and drive architectural changes to accelerate feature development or improve the quality of service.

About You

  • ">
  • We're looking for individuals with a 4-year degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of software development experience.">
  • You should understand Ad Tech business fundamentals and how technologies support business goals, translating business vision into a technical strategy while considering financial implications.">
  • PREFERRED: Experience in building and integrating DSP, SSP, Ad Server technology platforms in support of self-service Advertising.">
  • You should stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.">
  • Passionate about backend development, especially APIs.">
  • You write and organize code using multiple computer languages, including distributed programming and different frameworks and paradigms. Fluency in Java / Spring and microservices is required.">
  • Experience working with databases (RDBMS, NoSQL such as Cassandra, Mongo etc) is necessary.">
  • Familiarity with Kafka is also required.">
  • You enjoy mentoring junior engineers.">
  • You deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables with broad impact, emphasizing high throughput and low latency.">
  • You clearly communicate Agile concepts to partners within the product team.">
