Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistency of financial statements, management reports, systems, and controls for outsourced accounting and tax activities across entities.
  • Prepare revenue recognition, cost reviews, and adjustments in compliance with IFRS and local accounting practices.
  • Oversee month-end reconciliations and lead the financial close and reporting process for different entities, including reviews of all aspects of accounting and controlling.
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly financial statements, quarterly, and year-end reporting packages for all entities.
  • Prepare and implement accounting processes related to business combinations and improve standardized reporting activities in alignment with group directions and global initiatives.
  • Liaise with external auditors to monitor the overall audit process, address requests efficiently, and ensure findings are addressed to mitigate risk.
  • Provide business-enhancing solutions and reporting to facilitate optimal decision-making and maximize results.
  • Participate in business planning and forecasting, ensuring financial projections are properly reported and aligned with global, regional, and market requirements.
  • Support the Global Controller and IFRS technical experts in researching and advising on technical accounting issues related to strategic transactions.
  • Partner in developing a strong Controlling organization, building team resources with appropriate skills and competencies to achieve high performance in financial reporting, control, and business partnering roles.

Desired Skillsets:

  • A Certified Accountant (CA) with 7-8 years' experience in global companies, holding global responsibilities.
  • 5 years working experience in Professional Services, preferably Big4 firms.
  • Bachelor of Commerce or Economics degree.
  • Audit experience coupled with IFRS accounting competence.
