About the Role

We're seeking an experienced technology leader with a passion for big data engineering and architecture. Your expertise will help us deliver seamless, scalable, and secure data platforms that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

  • Lead the design and implementation of modern data platforms, integrating classical and evolving data drivers to unlock enterprise value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical strategies, define data engineering designs, and choose suitable technologies and tools for on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Leverage your expertise in big data systems, including batch data and streaming/online integrations, to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and implement data governance and quality capabilities, ensuring compliance and trustworthiness across data platforms.
  • Maintain and improve existing data architectures, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 12-16 years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with 5-7 years focused on big data systems.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Java, Scala, Python, Kafka, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Confluent, and distributed computing.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
