Job Description

The Zonal Head of Sales for the BANCA channel will drive sales, achieve business targets, develop strategic sales plans, manage banking partner relationships, and lead a team of sales professionals to grow the BANCA channel in their zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and targets within the designated zone.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with banking partners to drive sales and enhance collaboration.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning within the zone.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to design and launch products tailored to the BANCA channel.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to the National Sales Head.

Requirements

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within the insurance or financial services industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Strong understanding of the bancassurance model and experience working with banking partners.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed business decisions.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
