Entry-Level Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Entry-Level Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to our software development process.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing using Selenium WebDriver, and strong analytical skills. They should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough testing of web and mobile applications to guarantee functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test cases.
  • Conduct regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing.
  • Prepare comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in the QA process and automation framework.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python preferred).
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG / JUnit.
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, System Testing Life Cycle, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing is a plus.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
