The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong background in procurement, with 8-15 years of experience in the real estate or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert to lead and oversee the procurement process for our real estate and construction projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement plans that meet the requirements of our projects, while also ensuring timely and cost-effective material, equipment, and service procurement.

Some of the key tasks associated with this role include:

  • Procurement Planning: Develop procurement plans that meet the requirements of our projects, taking into account factors such as budget, timeline, and quality.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate suppliers based on their quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, and negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Purchase Order Management: Review and convert purchase requisitions into accurate and complete purchase orders, monitor and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate with project teams and suppliers to resolve any delivery or quality issues.
  • Cost Management: Analyze market trends, prices, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, implement cost control measures without compromising quality, and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, coordinate with warehouse and project teams to track and reconcile inventory, and implement inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, prepare reports and provide updates on procurement activities to management, and ensure compliance with company policies, procurement regulations, and applicable laws.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8-15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience in preparing MIS reports and analyzing data to inform procurement decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software (ERP) and other relevant tools.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
