Job Overview

The Mechanical Supervisor will oversee the installation and commissioning of wind turbines, ensuring timely completion of activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute daily site activities based on project schedules.
  • Manage crane planning, mobilization, and heavy material movement to optimize resource utilization.
  • Supervise wind turbine installation activities, verifying alignment with drawings and specifications.
  • Allocate work to contractors and engineers, monitoring labor, tools, and equipment for maximum productivity.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify material readiness, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper execution of internal line works and survey-based layouts to meet project deadlines.
  • Coordinate contractor attendance, skill card verification, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support customer inspections and ensure timely sign-off of milestones to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Resolve execution and commissioning queries through cross-functional coordination to minimize delays.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Approve crane movement routes and ensure lift planning is in place to prevent accidents.
  • Validate the fitness of lifting tools, jigs, and fixtures to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lead the establishment and operation of site repair facilities to minimize downtime.
