Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at Revolo Infotech, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our deployment pipelines, monitoring systems, and infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless integration of code changes, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and implement best practices for cluster security, networking, and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kubernetes Management
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production and development environments.
- Automate the provisioning and management of Kubernetes resources using Helm charts, customize, or other tools.
- Implement best practices for cluster security, networking, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle CI.
- Integrate automated testing, security checks, and deployment processes into the CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of code changes.
- Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and cost-effective.
- Maintain version control and documentation for infrastructure and logging.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Implement cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with software development, QA, and IT teams to support the entire software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
- Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef.
Experience:
- 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Proficient with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Skills:
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
