The devotion market presents a $44B opportunity in India (growing at 10% CAGR), primarily offline and unorganized. With 2M+ temples in India, about 10k have significant historical and cultural importance. Tourism to these religious places is a $10B opportunity. The Sri Mandir app is the world's largest app for Hindu devotees, growing 20-25% month-on-month.
Role Overview for Assistant Manager - OperationsYou will play a pivotal role in shaping, optimizing, and scaling our core operations as the AM - Fulfilment & Partnership Operations. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies that drive efficiency and growth, streamlining processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and creating systems for operational excellence across operating teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an operational strategy aligned with the company's mission and growth goals.
- Build systems and processes to create a habit of operational excellence across the operating teams.
- Identify bottlenecks, design scalable processes, and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage data insights to inform operational decisions, optimize performance metrics, and drive sustainable growth.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment with operational objectives and enhance service delivery.
- A strategic leader with 4+ years of experience in operations management.
- Experience scaling operations for a consumer-tech startup or a rapidly growing D2C company.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
