Engineering at Zepto

We're looking for a Senior React Native Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable, customer-centric products. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior React Native Developer, you'll work closely with Engineering and Product Managers to lead end-to-end development. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing large-scale mobile applications with React-Native
  • Building pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
  • Leveraging native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
  • Diagnosing and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks for an exceptional user experience
  • Participating in SDLC processes, including POC development, Functional Estimation, Performance Tuning, and Environment setup
  • Establishing best practices for development and championing their adoption
  • Mentoring young minds and fostering team spirit

Requirements

We're looking for a Senior React Native Developer with:

  • 4-7 years of experience building mobile applications
  • Proficiency with React Native and a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Experience in developing and delivering large-scale Android and iOS mobile applications via React-Native
  • Ability to work through new and complex React Native issues and contribute to libraries as needed
  • A passion for optimizations and a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver the best app experience
  • A firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax and Typescript
  • Experience in writing unit testing code with libraries like Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Mocha, etc
  • Experience in at least one native language, Android or iOS (Swift/Objective C)
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools
  • Experience working in a startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment
  • A growth mindset and passion for building things from the ground up
