Prime Analytics Business Intelligence Engineer

At ADCI - Karnataka, we're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused business intelligence engineer to join our Amazon Prime Analytics team. With a strong passion for big data, you will lead the business intelligence for Prime and drive member insights.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic, organized, and exceptional analytics expert with excellent team leadership skills, outstanding business acumen, and the breadth to work across multiple Amazon Prime business teams, data engineering, machine learning, and software development teams.
Key Responsibilities- Developing a long-term analytical strategy and driving its implementation.
- Using analytics to influence multiple departments, increasing their productivity and effectiveness to achieve strategic goals.
- Identifying, developing, managing, and executing analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and presenting written business recommendations that help shape our business roadmap.
- Large-scale data mining to find trends and problems, then communicating and driving corrective action.
- Ability to develop experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, use of strong baselines, ability to accurately determine cause-and-effect relations.
- Applying statistical and machine learning methods to specific business problems.
- Partnering with the machine learning team in model building w.r.t. variable definition, model validation, and creation of a targeting strategy.
- Owning the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc., to drive key business decisions across Amazon Prime business units.
We require:
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field.
- Experience working as a BIE in a technology company.
- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of business performance.
- Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
Preferred qualifications include an inquisitive mindset, proven problem-solving ability, and experience with big data tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum-
