About the Role

Netcracker Technology seeks an experienced Cloud Transformation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up tools and infrastructure for large programs with cloud solutions, creating CI/CD pipelines, managing environments using Kubernetes and public cloud platforms, automating development and release processes, analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Solution Implementation: Set up tools and required infrastructure for large programs with cloud solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab CI, and Gitops.
  • Environment Management: Manage environments using Kubernetes and public cloud platforms.
  • Process Automation: Automate development and release processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Team Guidance: Mentor and guide team members.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills: Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills are required to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail is necessary to ensure accurate implementation of cloud solutions.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • DevOps Principles Awareness: Awareness of DevOps principles is necessary to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Linux-based Operating Systems Experience: Good experience of Linux-based operating systems is required.
  2. Docker, K8s Experience: Hands-on experience working on Docker, K8s is necessary.
  3. Pipeline Creation and Support: Experience in creating and supporting pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab CI, and Gitops is required.
  4. Source Control and Build Automation Tools: Knowledge of source control and build automation tools such as git, gitlab/github, maven is necessary.
  5. Solution/Application Deployment and Troubleshooting: Experience in solution/application deployment and troubleshooting is required.
  6. REST APIs in Microservices Architecture: Experience with REST APIs in a microservices architecture is necessary.
  7. Scripting and Programming Languages: Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Groovy, or Bash is required.
  8. Ansible, Helm Experience: Experience in Ansible, Helm is necessary.
  9. Artifactory, Nexus Experience: Should have experience in Artifactory, Nexus.
  10. SQL and Non-SQL Databases: Experience in SQL and non-SQL databases is required.
  11. Vault Experience: Should have good experience in Vault.
  12. XML, JSON, YAML Formats: Understanding and experience with XML, JSON, and YAML formats is necessary.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year
