About the Role

We're looking for a results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales efforts and maximize revenue potential. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Managing a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals
  • Overseeing daily business reviews, sales meetings, and training sessions
  • Reviewing group contracts for turnover to Event Services
  • Carrying an individual goal as part of the team
  • Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual goal-setting sessions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A university or college degree and/or experience in a related field
  • + years' experience as a Group Sales Manager in a similar sized luxury hotel with experience in leading a team
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to articulate the strengths of the hotel and match with the needs of the customer
  • Guest-focused with a passion for service excellence
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Strategic mind looking to advance the hotel's revenue targets
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong selling skills to include negotiation and the closing process
  • Knowledge of Opera or Property Manager, Microsoft Office, and Windows XP preferred
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
