Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain serverside applications using Node.js.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
  • Work closely with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serversidelogic.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Design and maintain databaseschemas for both SQL (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB)databases.
  • Manage and mentor junior developers providing technical guidance and support.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Node.js development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as Express.js, Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and eventdriven architecture, Experience with SQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) and familiarity with their query languages, Familiarity with ORM libraries (e.g. Sequelize Mongoose) for database interaction, Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git), Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
