Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and procedures.

Your primary focus will be on managing work, projects, and policies within the finance function. This will involve coordinating and implementing accounting work and projects as assigned, upholding audit standards, and interacting with operations leaders to achieve control environment goals.

You will also provide leadership and training opportunities for departmental leaders, coordinate implementation and follow-up on Accounting SOP audits for all areas of the property, and comply with Federal and State laws applying to fraud and collection procedures.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to analyze information, evaluate results, and choose the best solution to solve problems. You will also maintain a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets and complete month-end audit-related functions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage work, projects, and policies within the finance function.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting and at least 1 year of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related professional area.

You should also possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and choose the best solution to solve problems. Additionally, you should have strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise and well-organized way.
