About the Role

This highly technical position involves developing end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes that support enterprise operations. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you'll be responsible for leading technical initiatives, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless integration across various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure solutions in areas including Service Portal, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release/SDLC, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Project, Timecards, Mobility, Reporting, and Performance Analytics.
  • Work closely with global teams to scope and design solutions that meet business and technical requirements, focusing on minimizing customizations.
  • Design technical solutions to address complex requirements, evaluate alternate options, and implement the best solution.
  • Develop workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance strategy, including unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Actively contribute to automation efforts on the platform.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management solutions within an enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, implementation, and administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Application Suite, including ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM.
  • Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.).
  • Solid grounding in web application development fundamentals (identity, security, etc.).
  • Experience with structured data, schema, and databases.
  • Experience integrating applications using RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts.
  • Familiarity with the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) and CMDB Identification and Reconciliation Rules (IRE).
  • Ability to understand and adapt to complex business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
