About the Job

We seek a strategic Lead Gen AI Consultant to join our network of freelance experts. This individual will partner with clients to understand their business challenges and lead the ideation and design of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and deploying AI-driven solutions using Python and relevant frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Leadership: Engage directly with clients to comprehend their needs and develop tailored Generative AI solutions.
  • Technical Architecture: Translate client requirements into actionable solution concepts, defining architecture, data strategy, model selection, and tooling for success.
  • Project Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of GenAI solutions, ensuring technical quality, alignment with business objectives, and timely project execution.
  • Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering best practices and ensuring project accountability.
  • Hands-On Contribution: Remain hands-on with tools, models, and code to prototype, build, and troubleshoot complex components of the application.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key technical point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing clear progress updates, and maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and taking ownership of the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong, client-facing communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies, including LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA), RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and agentic systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy GenAI solutions using Python and relevant frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML/AI services such as AWS Sagemaker, Azure OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI.

Availability:

  • 5 - 8 hours overlap with EST, according to client needs
  • Immediate or up to 1-2 weeks notice
  • Open to short-term projects such as discovery proposals and 6 weeks POCs
