Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Advatix. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and big data environments.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design and implement data pipelines from internal and external applications to the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) to enable rapid, ad-hoc analyses.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, MySQL, Postgres, and shell scripting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.

- Participate in all phases of the software engineering life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Ensure data integrity, data security, and data cleansing protocols are deployed and followed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipelines, data warehouses, and big data environments.

- Strong experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, MySQL, Postgres, and shell scripting.

- Experience with Big Data and Data Lake Environment, Data Warehouse On-Cloud, and ELT On-Cloud.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

- Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies and adapt them to technical and business challenges.
