Financial Transaction Coordinator

At Nextgen Clearing, we are seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Coordinator to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain accurate records of all daily transactions for our Foreign Exchange Accounts. You will be responsible for inputting payment transfers into the banking system, performing monthly reconciliation, and handling returned payments. Additionally, you will liaison with internal and external parties regarding banking-related queries and update our internal systems with banking data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management: Keep accurate records of all daily transactions, input payment transfers into the banking system, and perform monthly reconciliation.
- Return Handling: Handle returned payments, liaise with the operator/bank to find the reason for the return, and resubmit the payment to the partner/customer.
- Communication: Liaise with internal or external parties regarding banking-related queries.
- System Updates: Update internal systems with banking data.
Requirements:
- Analytical and Numerical Skills: Excellent analytical and numerical skills are required for this role.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be communicating with clients and banks on a regular basis.
- Confidentiality: Strong ethics and the ability to manage confidential data are essential for this role.
- Time Management: Sharp time management skills are required for this role, as you will be working to deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills are required for this role.
- Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in finance and accounting is required for this role.
- Flexibility and Autonomy: Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously are essential for this role.
