Senior Staff Engineer, System Infrastructure Specialist

As a Senior Staff Engineer, System Infrastructure, you will be responsible for maintaining the existing test suite and developing new test cases for Semtech.

Key responsibilities include building and running test plans for each new feature release, running non-regression tests with reference to Semtech modules, and analyzing module and APDU logs to report bugs and troubleshoot issues.

You will also act as an expert tester for projects requiring module/SIM testing, such as Local MNO Profile, IoT Safe, and IoT Profile Assistant.

Required experience and competencies include proven experience as a QA Tester, ability to clearly document and troubleshoot complex issues, knowledge of Mobile Network architecture 2G/3G/4G/5G/NB-IOT/CAT-M, and familiarity with 3GPP technical specification documents.

Additionally, you should be familiar with JIRA and Confluence collaborative tools, have fluent Technical English, and knowledge of module/SIM ecosystems.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/MCA or related degree, 10+ years of experience in Telecom companies, and certifications like CCNA.
