Job Opportunity: VMware Admin

We are seeking an experienced VMware administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our virtualized environment.

Estimated Salary Range: ₹ 1,200,000 - ₹ 1,800,000 per annum

This role involves hands-on experience with VMware management and administration (technical skills). You should have knowledge of overall VMware architecture, performance tuning & high availability. Good-to-have knowledge includes Windows, Linux, PostgreSQL, Bank Domain, Servers, Storage & Network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor VMware vCenter servers and ESXi hosts.">
• Configure and deploy new VMs, templates, and clusters.">
• Perform regular backups and restores of VMs and data.">
• Maintain high availability and disaster recovery configurations.">
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5-8 years of experience in VMware administration. You should be proficient in Windows, Linux, PostgreSQL, and have good knowledge of overall VMware architecture, performance tuning & high availability. Red Hat OpenShift/any container platform experience is a plus. Basic scripting skills are required. You should be ready to work in a 24x7 environment.
