Overview:

The role of the ASP.NET Team Lead at TCP Corps is to provide technical leadership and direction to our ASP.NET development team. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of web applications and solutions, driving the technical direction, and ensuring high-quality delivery of ASP.NET projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the ASP.NET development team in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions.
  2. Coding Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, development processes, and best practices.
  3. Requirements Gathering and Translation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  4. System Architecture and Design: Participate in the architecture and design of systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  5. Code Reviews and Feedback: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  6. Project Management: Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  7. Industry Trends and Technologies: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to ASP.NET and web development.
  8. Technical Support and Guidance: Resolve technical issues and provide technical guidance and support to the team.
  9. Technical Roadmap and Strategy: Contribute to the technical roadmap and strategy for ASP.NET projects.
  10. Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements in all development activities.
  11. Leadership, Mentorship, and Coaching: Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to team members to promote professional growth and development.
  12. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as QA, UX/UI, and product management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing a team of ASP.NET developers.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and related web technologies.
  • Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies: Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Database Design and Optimization: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable and high-performing web applications, with proficiency in database design and optimization, including SQL Server.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Documentation: Experience in creating technical documentation and specifications.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Experience in mentoring and coaching team members to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
  • Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git or TFS.
  • Security Principles and Best Practices: Understanding of security principles and best practices in web application development.
  • Leadership and Organizational Skills: Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
