Job Description

Evaluate complex situations using multiple sources of information, filters, validate, interpret dynamic material

Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with product development initiatives

Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, interact with all levels

  • Analyze, plan, develop requirements documents, build functional models, develop procedures
  • Assign and monitor work of project personnel, ensure project steps align with business objectives, on-time, within budget
  • Create change management method, including documentation, communication plans, process training
  • Define project scope, deliverables, roles, responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders, business partners
  • Define, acquire, allocate budget, staff, other resources necessary to accomplish goals, objectives
  • Design, implement processes to monitor, control resources, budget, risks, value to Business Objectives
  • Establish, plan, execute significant milestone reviews, decision gates to complete program, project life cycle
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, ability to interact professionally with diverse group, developers, product owners, subject matter experts
  • Exercise broadly delegated authority to plan, direct, coordinate, administer, execute many routine, complex projects/programs
  • Identify, clarify, communicate project vision, goals, objectives, how these tie into, support or impede organizational strategic objectives
  • Manage scope throughout project duration, maintain accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans, status reports
  • Manage, track team velocity, financials, other KPIs concerning plan, published progress reports
  • Possess high-level understanding in web application programming, content management systems, API, database, system design
  • Provide process improvement recommendations based on best practices, industry standards
  • Resolve conflicts by demonstrating leadership, appropriate decision-making competencies
  • Responsible for complex program management tasks, development of standards, processes for scheduling, administration, accounting
  • Understand, track, articulate issues/risks/action items; work with responsible owners to address things on timely basis; update stakeholders as needed
Requirements

8+ years Technical Project Manager experience with increasing responsibilities, demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, artifacts, tools

Complete knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices

Record of accomplishment as coach, mentor, developer of talent

Ability to independently manage operational aspects of ongoing projects, serve as liaison between project management, project team

Drive big picture goals, milestones while valuing, maintaining strong attention to detail

Quickly identify, drive optimal solution when presented with series of constraints

Demonstrated proficiency in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management

Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills

Experience in business process mapping, operational redesign/improvement

Experience working with quality management approaches, techniques, principles to ensure quality

Knowledge of both theoretical, practical aspects of project management

Self-motivated individual with excellent time management, organizational skills

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship-building skills, ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships

Strong oral, written communication skills, ability to present polished, professional, diplomatic image to stakeholders

Keen sense of personal responsibility, accountability for delivering high-quality work

Strong knowledge of Project management tools like VSTS, Asana, Jira
