Lead Strategic Finance Operations

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our strategic finance operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the development and implementation of financial strategies, ensuring the company's financial growth and stability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Design and oversee internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement treasury operations, including liquidity management, crypto wallet oversight, and exchange accounts.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team and board to support informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate financial and operational risks, identifying mitigation strategies to minimize impact.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3-5 years in fintech or payments companies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, blockchain transactions, digital asset accounting, and custody mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing statutory and regulatory audits, and a history of collaboration with tier 1 audit firms.
  • Profound knowledge of financial controls, risk management, and treasury operations within a dynamic environment.
  • CA/CPA/ACCA certification (CFA certification is preferred).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working in the crypto payment or infrastructure space.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional licensing and UAE tax accounting.
