Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Autodesk. This role will be responsible for further securing our customer data, applications, and infrastructure.

This person will collaborate with team members and the wider engineering community to produce high-quality deliverables in an efficient manner. They will have a deep understanding of the AWS security landscape and be able to deploy controls to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats.

The ideal candidate will work closely with multiple security teams, including infrastructure, engineering, operations, incident response, and offensive security, to develop scalable solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Introduce and improve security testing mechanisms into our CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, etc.).
  • Develop high-quality, secure, stable code for use by our security and engineering teams.
  • Work with security stakeholders to define needs and design solutions relevant to solving a security problem.
  • Extend and improve existing off-the-shelf security tooling to fit our use cases.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, document, and debug code as required.
  • Research external best practices and emerging software and security technologies for possible incorporation into our platform/applications and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in SecOps
  • Experience securing infrastructure in AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Elasticache, S3, etc.) via automation.
  • Strong development skills in Python, Golang, or related languages.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with multiple types of audiences.
  • Experience with REST and/or Graph APIs.
  • Proficiency with building, maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and modern deployment methodologies.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience. In addition to base salaries, we also offer discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
