Product Administrator Role Overview
The Product Administrator at Black Box plays a pivotal role in managing the product lifecycle process within the Product Management Office (PMO). This involves ensuring that the product lifecycle process reflects the current status of our product offerings. The Product Administrator provides administrative support to the PMO for the daily operational function of the global products business.
- Collaborates with the Product Management team to facilitate the New Product Introduction (NPI) process in line with Project timescales.
- Manages master data changes and updates through proper channels consistent with established business processes.
- Provides cross-functional communication of project status and tasks to key stakeholders.
- Manages the scope and timeline of NPI projects using SmartSheets.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency in new data entered into the resource planning system.
- Collaborates with the Data Governance Office for process improvements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Data analysis and reporting.
- SAP query writing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve with strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and keen eye for consistency.
- Initiative in prioritizing workload.
- Strong team player with diverse/global team experience.
- Proactive and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- SAP experience required (S/4 HANA preferred).
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of SmartSheet application preferred.
