Business Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our Dechra Veterinary Products business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion our range of Farm Animal and Equine products to veterinary practices within defined sales territories.
  • Achieve territory sales objectives, including quarterly and yearly targets, while respecting product mix, prices, and promotional offers.
  • Utilize data analytics and strategic targeting with Salesforce CRM and supporting sales data to drive sales performance.
  • Manage a diary of business appointments and travel to maximize productivity.
  • Deliver on sales campaigns aligned with business needs.
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with clients through appropriate business solutions and proven sales methods.
  • Action inbound customer and/or sales enquiries.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, monitoring and reporting on competitor activities as required.
  • Attend and present at required customer meetings, congresses, and events to educate customers and promote Dechra's product range and available support.

Requirements

  • Previous business-to-business sales experience.
  • Competent in negotiation and influencing.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
  • Knowledge or a keen interest in the veterinary sector.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM.
  • Previous experience in consumer health, pharmaceutical, or veterinary sales.
  • Previous experience in Equine and/or Farm Animal veterinary industry.
  • MRCVS or RVN qualification.
  • Degree-level qualification desirable.
  • Significant travel required within the defined territory, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving license, with ability to travel domestically 4 days per week, with occasional overnight stays.
