Clearing Operations Specialist

As a Clearing Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clearing activities. Your primary responsibility will be to authorize and verify transactions within prescribed cut-off timings.
Key Responsibilities:- Authorize all inward clearing instruments without exceptions.
- Verify and authorize related entries, including cheques and schedules.
- Book receivables or payables with timely intimation to the unit-in-charge.
- Handle returns and referrals, including identification and return of eligible cheques.
- Raise referrals for cheques, including those from Co-operative Banks.
- Follow up on referrals and maintain cheque return registers and related records.
- Ensure all inward cheques are processed and returned within permissible timelines.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
