Job Summary

The Graphic Designer will provide support to the Creative Director, Events on content for external events and assist the Design and Media Specialist with bespoke design initiatives. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, conceptual thinking, creativity, articulation, and the ability to understand and convey various concepts. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in Graphics Design or a related field and 2-4 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. Key skills include proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Microsoft Office, and HTML or other coding experience. The Graphic Designer will work effectively in a team-oriented environment, ensuring an engaging client experience and achievement of program objectives by consistently meeting deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities

* Assist investment professionals with formatting, design, and visual presentation aspects of marketing materials and presentations in conformance with firm branding standards.
* Provide support with other dynamic content and graphics-intensive initiatives, such as logos, employee photos, and special conceptual design projects.
* Design ongoing support to the Creative Director, Events on content for external events and assist the Design and Media Specialist with bespoke design initiatives.
* Provide backup assistance for the Creative Lead Coordinator with the work requests queue and additional workflow coordination.
* Over time, the Graphic Designer may provide support on other dynamic content and graphics-intensive initiatives, such as podcasts, animation, and videos.

Requirements

* College degree in Graphics Design or a related field.
* 2-4 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Microsoft Office, and HTML or other coding experience.
* Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
* Good judgment in terms of escalating issues vs. solving problems independently.
* A solutions-oriented self-starter with the ability to see the big picture.
* Ability to be flexible in terms of hours to coordinate with team members across various time zones.
* An analytical mind and a passion for bringing new ideas to increase efficiency of existing processes.
* Outgoing, collaborative, and inclusive style, well-developed ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Highly resourceful; able to collaborate; strength in time management with high stakes deadlines.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and represent the Firm in a professional manner.
