Strategic Business Development Lead

Immacule Lifesciences is a dynamic and innovative pharmaceutical company that focuses on delivering high-quality OSD/Injectables products to emerging markets. We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team and drive business growth.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Business Development professional to manage our OSD/Injectables product portfolio in Africa and Emerging Markets. The ideal candidate will have expertise in licensing, supply agreements, and cross-functional team management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand our presence in Africa and Emerging Markets
- Negotiate licensing agreements with CDOs/CDMOs for generic products and cross-license agreements for better reach and revenue generation
- Leverage relationships with equity partners/investors to secure capital investments for strategic projects
- Manage cross-functional teams, including R&D, procurement, project management, and regulatory affairs, to deliver fast-track project execution
- Identify and prioritize new products for our pipeline, considering regulated markets and extending dossiers to other global markets
- Prepare business cases using financial modeling (NPV, PBP, and contribution analysis) for shortlisted products and provide recommendations to senior management
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to build relationships and stay updated on industry trends
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A strong background in business development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience in managing projects from concept to launch
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan matching, and paid time off.
