Job Overview:

The IT Service Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT services to support the business. This includes ensuring that all IT systems are running smoothly, resolving technical issues in a timely manner, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be accountable for IT service delivery and ensure that all IT services meet the required standards.

- Support IT management in making informed decisions by providing relevant data and insights.

- Contribute to defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure IT service performance.

- Ensure that all IT services remain responsive to customer needs and that adequate reporting and service standards are met.

- Communicate technical changes and manage them with appropriate governance.

- Drive continual service improvement across the IT service delivery function.

- Be accountable for statutory and internal audits, monitor compliance with group governance, and implement group IT policies as applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 8+ years of overall work experience with not less than 3 years in supporting global applications coupled with good knowledge of delivering support to local applications.

- Having FMCG or Pharma IT background with fair understanding of business processes and exposure to supporting IT systems in manufacturing and distribution environments in India.

- Good knowledge of managing IT helpdesk supporting customer calls.

- Good communication skills with ability to build business partnership and trust; ability to navigate through complex global environments for delivering results.

- Knowledge on IT service management and delivering IT support services in line with defined KPIs with a continuous improvement mindset.

- Ability to lead vendor governance meetings and drive collaboration towards common goals of delivering IT support to the satisfaction of large numbers of business users/customers.

- IT service management of incidents, service tickets, change requests with knowledge of prioritization and delivering KPIs.

- Resource planning, budgeting, and controlling.

- Problem-solving skill.

- Ability to support business working across L1, L2, L3 support resources and navigating through global IT environments.

- Understanding of SAP ECC core modules and knowledge of landscape.

- Fair knowledge of distributor management system and mobile sales force application.

- Knowledge on Servicenow ITSM tool will be an advantage.
