About the Role

At IQVIA, we are seeking an experienced Senior Statistical Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex statistical programming solutions using SAS.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain high-quality statistical programs using SAS, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians and clinical data managers to design and implement statistical analysis plans.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Conduct plausibility and completeness checks of programming output across each study.
  • Lead and own identified opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics or statistics.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in statistical programming in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAS Base, graph, and macros.
  • Strong understanding of CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM).
  • Thorough understanding of relational database components and theory.
  • Excellent application development skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
