Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Systems Engineer to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our SAP data transfer systems. If you have a strong background in SAP data transfer, ABAP programming, and data migration, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data transfer systems using SAP Data Services (DS) 4.2 and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain ABAP programs and custom code for data transfer and migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data transfer and integration.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with Ecolab's data management policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on data transfer and migration.

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in SAP data transfer, migration, and architecture.
  • Expertise in SAP Data Services (DS) 4.2 and other relevant tools.
  • Strong background in ABAP programming and custom code development.
  • Experience with data transfer from ECC to BW/Hana/SNF environment.
  • Good knowledge of OHD configuration and extraction into DS environments.
  • Business Areas: SD, MM, CRM, FI-CO, and BI/BW.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data load management using DS for Full/Delta/Adhoc-Load and Monitoring.
  • Expertise in Code Migration and performance optimization techniques.
  • Expertise in Job/Script/workflow/dataflow creation.
  • Expertise in Business logic implementation in Script/workflow/dataflow/Query level.
  • Expertise in error handling mechanisms in DS Job/Data flow level.
  • Experience with Job scheduling and monitoring Job logs.
  • Experience with Mail alert mechanisms in DS Workflow/Data flow/Job level.
  • Experience with Data store connection configuration.
  • Experience with RFC configuration in Data store level.
  • Experience with File path configuration and different file format creation in Job level.
  • Experience with File extraction into DS server.
