Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and developing sales strategies to meet company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Generation and Outreach:
  • Identify potential clients, initiate contact, and establish relationships through cold calling, emails, and virtual meetings.
Sales Pipeline Management:
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, consistently following up to move leads through the sales cycle and secure new business.
Client Needs Assessment:
  • Understand client requirements by asking insightful questions, offering tailored solutions, and presenting relevant Zephyrus Engineering services.
Presentation and Closing Sales:
  • Deliver virtual presentations, product demos, and proposals that showcase our value proposition. Work to convert leads into customers through effective sales strategies.
Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Team:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and with the broader sales team to align on goals, share insights, and improve sales processes.
CRM Management:
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM, tracking interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities. Update information regularly to provide real-time insights to the sales team.
Market and Competitor Research:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to refine sales pitches and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a remote setting and in industries related to engineering, construction, or technical services.
Self-Motivation and Discipline:
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent time management skills.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to build rapport and engage effectively with clients.
Persuasion and Negotiation Skills:
  • Ability to influence decision-making processes, overcome objections, and close deals.
Proficiency with CRM Software:
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, update records, and manage the sales pipeline.
Tech-Savvy and Comfortable with Virtual Tools:
  • Familiar with digital communication tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) and sales software.
