Job Role: Senior Data Engineer - DBT & Snowflake

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data models and transformations using DBT alongside Snowflake, ensuring effective transformation and loading of data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake.
  • Implement and oversee data models in DBT to ensure precise data transformation aligned with business requirements.
  • Craft and optimize SQL queries within DBT to enhance data transformation processes and overall performance.
  • Establish optimal DBT processes to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Possess expertise in SQL and a thorough understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and Modern Data Architectures.
  • Have familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Transition legacy transformation code into modular DBT data models.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in DBT and Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
