Business Intelligence and Data Testing Specialist

Our company is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing data and business intelligence platforms with mixed SaaS/ERP sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test strategy for data transformation accuracy, reconciliation, security, lineage, performance, and accessibility
  • Create automated data tests using SQL assertions and expectations, and build regression packs for DAX/measures and dataset-level contracts
  • Execute system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), manage defects and traceability, and validate deployment pipelines and release readiness

The successful candidate will also have experience with Power Platform, specifically Power Automate for defect routing and alerts, and a strong understanding of privacy and access controls.

Essential Experience:
  • Testing data and business intelligence platforms with mixed SaaS/ERP sources; strong SQL and test data design
  • Test management and reporting tools; understanding of privacy and access controls

A great understanding of Great Expectations or similar tools, as well as performance testing and ISTQB certifications, is highly desirable.
