**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the end-to-end processes for accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for both US and India operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and clients across regions to manage payment terms and ensure smooth cash flow.
  • Lead the month-end close process for both US and India entities, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data and ensure timely completion.
  • Handle payroll processing for India, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements, compliance with statutory requirements, and maintenance of payroll records.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with external consultants to ensure timely and accurate filing of GST and TDS returns in India.
  • Ensure all tax-related documentation is prepared and maintained.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts, including bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations across both US and India entities.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or variances identified during these reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports as required by management and regulatory authorities for both US and India entities.
  • Ensure financial reporting aligns with accounting standards and regulations applicable in both regions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance team members.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages growth and professional development.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Qualified CA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in core finance functions, including AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close, with at least 3-4 years in a similar profile.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in both the US and India.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Zohobooks, Quickbooks and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
