We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Professor in Data Science and Technology to join our esteemed faculty at the Department of Technology. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in computer science or data science, with a terminal degree (M.Tech or equivalent) in the relevant academic discipline. The successful candidate will have prior teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Additionally, they will be expected to engage in ongoing professional development, stay current with developments in their field, and incorporate new knowledge into their teaching and research.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Our university offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in your area of expertise. Prepare course materials and manage grading. Mentor and guide undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Service and Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental, faculty, and institutional committees. Assist with departmental administration, such as curriculum development and assessment of student performance.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending conferences and workshops. Stay current with developments in your field and incorporate new knowledge into your teaching and research.
Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: M.Tech (Computer/Data Science) or equivalent terminal degree in the relevant academic discipline. Some institutions may accept candidates with a strong track record in research and professional experience.

Experience: Previous teaching experience is required. Freshers can also apply, but must demonstrate strong potential for academic excellence.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently. Knowledge of current trends and developments in the field. Familiarity with modern teaching technologies.
