As a DevOps Specialist at Groww, you'll be part of our Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data platforms and infrastructure. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data platforms, data lakes, and ingestion systems that handle high traffic and large-scale microservices.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build processes and document tribal knowledge around data platform infrastructure.
  • Manage application deployment and GKE platforms, automating and improving development and release processes.
  • Create, manage, and maintain datastores and data platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Owning end-to-end Availability, Performance, Capacity of applications and their infrastructure, creating/maintaining observability with Prometheus/New Relic/ELK/Loki.
  • Work with Core Infra, Dev, and Product teams to define SLO/Error Budgets/Alerts.
  • Identify observability gaps in application & infrastructure and work with stakeholders to fix them.
  • Automate toil and repetitive work.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in managing high-traffic, large-scale microservices, and infrastructure with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in setting up, working on distributed processing engines, distributed databases, and messaging queues (Kafka, PubSub, or RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Familiarity with BigQuery or Trino, Pinot, Airflow, and Superset or similar tools (Mongo and Redis are a plus).
  • Extensive experience in DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, GRPC, Routing, and Load Balancing.
  • Expertise in Google Cloud (GCP) and/or other relevant Cloud Infrastructure solutions like AWS or Azure.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Spinnaker, Argo, etc.

Salary: ₹1200,000 - ₹1800,000 per annum
