The Role
Job Description:
Arm's Solution Engineering team is excited to collaborate with skilled SoC verification engineers to develop cutting-edge compute solutions. This role requires expertise in functional verification, test planning, and methodology development to ensure the quality and performance of Arm's IP compute subsystems.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the verification process by building test plans, defining methodologies, and improving verification efficiency. Your knowledge of IoT subsystems and SoCs will be invaluable in this role. We are a diverse and inclusive team that encourages collaboration, leadership, and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute functional verification strategies to ensure the correctness of Arm's IP compute solutions.
- Collaborate with project management to plan tasks, set schedules, and achieve quality checkpoints.
- Lead the verification effort, working closely with engineers from architecture, design, verification, implementation, performance analysis, and silicon validation.
- Support junior members and provide guidance on verification methodologies and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with peers, partners, and groups across multiple fields.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in SoC verification environments.
- Knowledge of assembly language (ARM), C/C++, SystemVerilog, and shell programming/scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).
- Experience in UVM, OVM, or eRM verification methodologies, as well as formal, low power, and emulation.
- Exposure to all stages of verification, from requirements collection to documentation and support.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Practical experience in processor-based system design.
- Exposure to UVM or other industry-standard verification methodologies.
- Languages: Verilog, C/C++, Assembly language, Perl.
- Verification Languages such as System Verilog.
- Strong understanding of CPU Architecture/micro-architectures.
- Team handling experience.
Desirable skills:
- Strong understanding of basic computer architecture.
- Good in logical programming using C/C++/ Assembly with experience in embracing software engineering standard methodologies.
- Familiarity of Unix / Linux working environment.
