Business Development and Land Acquisition Director

Company Overview: DRPPL is a leading real estate company in Mumbai, with a focus on sustainable and environmentally responsible land development practices. As the Head of Business Development & Land Acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business expansion in the city.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our business development and land acquisition strategy for Dharavi Redevelopment real estate projects. The successful candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in the real estate industry, with exceptional expertise in strategic business development and land acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and land acquisition strategy for Dharavi Redevelopment projects
- Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities, conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Negotiate and finalize land acquisition deals while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, landowners, government authorities, and industry partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project proposals, financial models, and investment strategies
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market trends, competitor analysis, and industry best practices
- Oversee the due diligence process, including legal, financial, and technical assessments for potential land acquisitions
- Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or engineering
